The Field Day is a great opportunity to see the farm in action and meet the Tierra Verde team. Spend time walking the fields seeing and learning how we farm…hear from the Tierra Verde staff and owners why we farm. Highlights of the day will include:
- On-the-ground station overviews of each of our key animals – layers, broilers, cattle, lambs, and hogs.
- An overview of the foundations shaping the way we steward our land and animals by Steve Montgomery.
- Cookout featuring Tierra Verde Farms hot dogs and hamburgers
The event is open from 2 PM to 6 PM with station presentations and talks done on a rolling basis. If planning to visit the animal stations, please wear suitable footwear and clothing for what could be a wet and muddy walk.
