Salsa ala Carbonara

Salsa ala Carbonara
Ingredients
  • (4-8 quarts) Water for boiling pasta
  • (1 pound) Spaghetti
  • (1/2 cup) Parmesan Cheese
  • (to taste) Salt and Pepper
  • (3-4 cloves) Garlic (minced)
  • (2) Eggs (raw)
  • (1 lb) Bacon Ends – Pepper

Directions

  1. Put water on to Boil
  2. Mince Bacon in small pieces and begin to fry to just barely crisp
  3. Put pasta in boiling water
  4. Put raw eggs in large pasta bowl and whisk until blended, set aside
  5. Right before pasta is done put minced garlic in bacon
  6. Drain pasta from water and put hot pasta over eggs and toss (eggs will coat pasta and pasta will cook eggs)
  7. Pour bacon and bacon fat over pasta and toss
  8. Add parmesan cheese to pasta and toss
  9. Serve Immediately.


You can use any bacon or bacon ends you like. We use pepper bacon as I like a lot of black pepper in this dish.
