Roasted Pork Sausages

Roasted Pork Sausages
Ingredients
  • 1 pound Tierra Verde Farms mild italian pork sausages
  • 1 cup sliced sweet onions
  • 1 mcintosh or other baking apple, cored and thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp sage (or 6-8 sage leaves)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Lightly grease a small roasting pan and roast sausages for 20 min. Pour fat from roasting pan and discard. Mix onions, apples, butter, sage, and salt & pepper. Add to roasted sausages and roast 20 minutes or more until juices run clear when the sausage is pricked with a fork.
2. This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled to feed a crowd.
