Cast-Iron Bone In Pork Chops

Cast-Iron Bone In Pork Chops
Ingredients
  • 4 Tierra Verde Farms bone-in pork loin chops
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp ground mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt/pepper
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 sprigs rosemary

Directions

  1.  Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  
  2. Mix paprika, thyme, mustard, salt & pepper in a small bowl
  3. Pat the pork chops dry and sprinkle spice mixture on them, rubbing it in to adhere
  4. Heat a cast-iron pan on medium-high heat, add olive oil, and sear the chops for 2-3 minutes on both sides.
  5. Add butter and rosemary into the pan and move to the hot oven for 12-15 minutes.  
  6. Remove the chops and ladle melted butter over them and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
