Ingredients
  • (2.5-3.5 lbs) Corned Beef
  • (1 small head or 1/2 of large head) Cabbage
  • (4-5 Peeled and cut into 3 inch pieces) Carrots
  • (1 large cut into 6 wedges) Onion
  • (10 potatoes about 1.5-2" diameter) Red Potatoes
  • (3-4 cups) Water or stock

Directions

  1. Put Corned Beef and water in crock pot or slow cooker
  2. Cook for 9 hours on low or 5 hours on high
  3. Add potatoes, carrots and onions for last 1.5 hours
  4. Add quartered cabbage with 1 hour remaining
  5. Remove from crockpot and let cool on cutting board for 10 minutes
  6. Slice meat and serve with vegetables from crockpot
  7. Yum!!


This recipe can be made in a dutch oven in your oven using the timing of the crockpot set on high. Set oven temp to 325.
