Maple Glazed Ham

Ingredients
  • (8-10 lbs) Nitrate-free Bone-In Ham
  • (1 can) GInger Ale
  • (1-2 cups) Maple Syrup Pint

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Place ham, meat side down in a large roasting pan with a rack.
  3. Pour a can of Ginger Ale over the ham.
  4. Place ham in the oven for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove ham and baste with the juices in the pan.  Place ham back in the oven.
  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for a total of 2 hours.
  7. Remove ham from oven and baste ham with maple syrup. 
  8. Place ham in the oven for 20 minutes.
  9. Remove ham and baste with more maple syrup.  Turn oven up to 400 degrees.
  10. Place ham back in the oven for 20 minutes.
  11. Remove ham from oven and let ham stand for 10-15 minutes before carving.
